Patty Ann McCune Davis Obituary (1957 - 2021)

Patty Ann McCune Davis was born January 30, 1957, in Union, MS to the late Mr. Albert McCune, Sr. and Mrs. Margie Mae Slaughter-McCune. Patty gained her heavenly wings on November 2, 2021. At an early age, Patty confessed Christ and joined Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Union, MS. She graduated from Union High School and attended Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS where she received a degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, Patty relocated to Richmond, VA. She gained employment at Dairymen, Inc. and later with the Department of Treasury (IRS), from which she retired. Photography, with an emphasis on scenery, was her favorite hobby. Patty was united in Holy matrimony to the late Harry Davis, Sr. From this union two sons were born Harry, II and Joshua-- the loves of her life. In addition to her parents preceding her in death, Patty was also preceded in death by her sister, Diane McCune-Marshall. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Harry Davis, II (Natasha) of Richmond, VA and Joshua Davis (Kimberly) of Front Royal, VA; two granddaughters whom she adored: Klohey Johnson-Davis and Kaylyn Johnson; six sisters: Christine McCune of Richmond, VA, Sandra McCune-Wilson of Jackson, MS, Bonnie Green, Gladys McCune, Felicia McCune-Rushing, and Natasha McCune all of Union, MS; four brothers, Gilbert McCune of Union, MS, Bobby McCune of Atlanta, GA, Albert McCune, Jr. (Linda) of Byram, MS, and Elbert McCune of Richmond, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
