Peggy Lorraine Bragg

PEGGY LORRAINE BRAGG was born in Chesterfield County, Virginia, on January 15, 1949. She was the third of six children born to the late Elmon L. Bragg, Sr., and Rosa P. Bragg.

Peggy received her education in the Richmond public school system. After graduating from high school, she furthered her education at Woodrow Wilson Training School, where she received a certificate.

At an early age, Peggy joined Woodville Presbyterian Church, where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Her faith was not simply something she professed; it was something she demonstrated through service and love.

Peggy found her calling in serving as an usher at Woodville. She made sure the pulpit was clean and ready for Sunday Service.

Peggy was a quiet soul who lived a simple and modest life. She practically saved every dollar earned. Peggy believed in working hard and made the most of what she had. Her quiet strength and gentle spirit are qualities that we will cherish.

Peggy is survived by her son, Mark Bragg; her sister, Carolyn B. Shaw (Joseph); two brothers, Michael Bragg, Sr., and Byron Bragg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
