Portia E. Jones Obituary (1953 - 2021)

Portia Jones "PoPo" was born January 24, 1953. She accepted Crist at an early age. Portia went peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Richmond VA. She attended Richmond Public Schools and retired as a certified Nursing assistant after 40 years of service as a devoted caregiver. She was preceded in death by father, Preston Davis; stepfather, Emmett Randolph. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Carlton Jones; mother, Anna Randolph; children, Felicia Davis, Latrice Jones (Tobias), Hope Johnston (William); five siblings, Joyce Hinton, Preston Davis, Jr(Zenovia), Stanley Davis (Linda), Warren Randolph and William Randolph; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; six neices and nephews; four great nieces and nephews; and two great- great nieces ;and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1 PM at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Interment Maury Cemetery. These services are private for family only due to Covid restrictions.
