Ret. Det. Christover Tabb Obituary (1948 - 2016)

Retired Detective Christover Miller Tabb of Mechanicsville,VA departed this life August 1, 2016. Chistover attended Maggie L. Walker High School and graduated in 1966. He later went to the US Army. Christover was employed as a fireman for the Richmond City Fire Department, then as a detective with the City of Richmond Police Department. After leaving the police department, Christover worked for the Virginia Division of Forensic Science and as Rail Crew XP for CSX. He is preceded in death by his parents, William H. Tabb & Clara Miller Tabb. He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Bernard H. Tabb; sister, Joyce "JT" Tabb; one aunt, Anne Deloris Tabb; devoted friend, Anitra "Nee Nee" Green; other relatives and many friends, among them, Ms. Carolyn Allen Tabb, William Dickerson, Derron Carmichael, Frank Yancey, Robert Matthews (Sioux), Norris Evans, Elton "EZ-L" Thornton, Marvin Tillman, and the Cobra One Motor Cycle & Social Club, the American Legion Post #144 and the Central Virginia Fallen Bikers Committee. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, Richmond, VA 23224.
