Richard James Miles, Sr.,70 of Richmond, formerly of Jersey City, NJ., entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Viola Miles; brother, Kevin Miles, Sr.; and devoted wife of 45 years, Connie L. Miles. He is survived by his children, Twanda Ryals-Griffin(William), James Murray, Cassandra Farmer, Richard Miles, Jr. and Latonya Miles; two godchildren, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two brothers and sisters, Archie Dennis, Phyllis and Gertrude Miles, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street where services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:30p.m. Interment private.
