Ricky J. Ward Obituary (1966 - 2022)

Ricky Junior Ward was born on July 10, 1966. Ricky departed his Earthly body on October 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Horace and Geneva Ward; five brothers; and one nephew. He leaves to cherish his memories, 2 loving children, Chelsea and Eric; two sisters, Valeire West, Janir Jona; four brothers, Eric (Claudette), Elvin, Calvin, Ronald Ward (girlfriend Joyce Breed); 3 sisters in law; cousins and friends. Ricky was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was baptized at a young age at Brown Grove Baptist Church and baptized by Rev. Samuel Robinson. He attended Chesterfield County Schools. After graduation, he worked at N.B. Goodwin and Sons Lumber Company for more than 20 years. Ricky was a wonderful person who heart was big as gold a good brother and a good friend to everyone he knew and everyone that knew him and he will be sorely missed. Love you Ricky, you will always be in our hearts forever. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11 AM at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St. Interment Maury Cemetery.
