Robert Armstead

Robert Maurice Armstead, Sr., was born in White Plains, NY, on March 25, 1973. He passed on May 27, 2021, at 6:15 AM, at MCV/VCU Hospital, at the age of 48. He lived in Colonial Heights, VA. He leaves behind an eleven-year-old son, Robert "RJ" M. Armstead, Jr., his mother, Ellen Armstead
of Richmond, VA, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robert was into photography; he worked at several shops developing pictures, correcting bad prints, color corrections, etc., which he loved. He started at the age of 18 and took courses with Kodak and Fujifilm. He was also going to school
online for his real estate license. He had several hobbies, like computer repairs and auto repairs. He enjoyed working with his hands and mind.Robert had heart trouble for years; this was his second aortic dissection surgery and he needed one more, but God decided no more surgery or pain and took him to rest. He was a great father, son, and friend and loved because he loved. Til we meet again, RIP. You're forever in our hearts.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 Mimms Chapel at 12:00PM.
