Ronald "Pretty Ricky" Lee Carroll

On September 19, 2026 Ronald "Ricky" Lee Carroll answered the final call to leave this earthly place to rest peacefully in God's Kingdom. Ricky was born on October 28, 1955, in Richmond, Virginia.

He attended Richmond Public Schools and graduated from George Wythe High School, later serving in the Army. Ricky loved listening to music, working with his hands, and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. "Pretty Ricky" as he called himself was the life of the party, his smiles and jokes would light up the room.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald “Sonny” Carroll Jr. and Nancy T. Carroll, brother Reginald "Rocky" Carroll III, and sister Regina Carroll.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his wife Marilyn R. Carroll, son Devron Carroll and daughter-in-law Nikki Carroll, stepson Ju'wan Hatch, sister Joyce Carroll, devoted nephew Royal Carroll, three grandchildren Olivia, Autumn, and Devron Jr., two sisters-in-law Cynthia Monroe and Brenda Jasper, two brothers-in-law Richard Monroe and Waddell Monroe (Diane), aunt Ruthgenia Hill, devoted friend Carolyn Scruggs, and family Lakisha McCutchen (Eric), Lateefa Thompson (Travis), Lamont Scruggs, Latoya Scruggs, and De'Quan Scruggs.
