Roosevelt Miles, Jr.

Roosevelt Miles Jr was born December 10, 1963 to Roosevelt Miles Sr and Loretta Temple. He transitioned suddenly on December 24, 2021. He received his education in the Richmond Public School system where he excelled in certain areas especially JROTC program. After high school he held several jobs. He was always a jack of trades. He was always a man that spoke his peace of mind. He loved his girls and grandchildren to the fullest. He was giving of himself to others to show how much he really cared for them. He was stubborn as bull yet gentle as newborn baby. If he loved you, he loved you to the moon and back. He is preceded in death by his father and stepfather. He is survived by his loving mother Loretta Temple, three sisters, Brenda Mayes, Rosette Marshall (Greg) and Iris Armstead (Kevin). He leaves to cherish his memories his four devoted daughters Shandra Burney, Maravia Miles, Mary Swearengen and Annarose Miles, four beautiful grandchildren Tyshawn J Burney Sr, Marquel B Longus, Eleisha Love Longus and Ambriel K Sharese and two great grandchildren Tyshawn J Burney Jr and Miracle. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends. We all are going to miss him greatly yet rest assured we know he is at peace. We loved him yet God loved him best.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00AM. Interment Private.
