Mrs. Roslyn Falecia McDuffie Walker, of Courthouse Rd., Chesterfield, VA completed her journey here on Earth, Thursday April 7, 2016. To Everything there is a season, a time to be born and a time to die. \n\nRoslyn was born in Robeson County, Lumberton, NC to the late Magaline McDuffie. She went to school at Fairmont Rosenwald School. She was a graduate of Fairmont High. She continued her education at J. Sargeant Reynolds College Richmond, VA. She then worked for J. H. Reid Elementary School in Richmond, VA. Roslyn worked for the Richmond Public School System for over 40 long years. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Jackson Walker; one adopted son, Kashif Walters; and a host of other relatives and friends. \n\nRemains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-5 PM. \n\nFuneral service will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at 1 PM at Christian Fellowship Ministries, 304 North Canal St., Rowland, NC 28383.
