Mrs. Ruth H. Carter, of Richmond, departed this life October 25, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn "Yvonne" Peerman (Rev. Charlie L. Peerman Jr.); grandson, Marcus Peerman; sister, Frances Jones; brother, Alfred Harris (Yvonne); several nieces and nephews, among them a devoted niece, Veronica Jones; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, at 11 a.m. Rev. Randolph Burt officiating. Interment in Maury
