Shantisha Latrice Dortch gained her "Angel Wings" on October 2, 2016.\nBorn in Richmond, VA on December 1, 1986, Tisha is the daughter of Sarita G. Smith (Antonio) of Tampa, FL and Reginald L. Dortch (Lisa) of Colorado Springs, CO.\nShe is survived by her two children Da'Kari Harris and Za'Nya Dortch. Grandparents, Hazel Green (Malvin) and Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Ersell Dortch. Five sisters: MeShayla Green, Shakeala Dortch, Dominique Mathison, Tionna Toves and Quiandra Smith, three brothers: Andre' Green, Tavares Hamilton-Dortch and Dante Thompson and a host of other relatives, neighbors and dear friends, among them are Nicole Allen, Deondra Green and Regina Morris.\nShantisha loved being a mother and spending time with her children. You always saw a smile on all the three of their faces when they were together on one of their many adventures. She graduated from Meadowbrook High School. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, Tisha enjoyed helping others. She was a recent graduate of the Centura School with a certification in Phlebotomy and was excited to start her new career. Tisha touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with in her family, at work and in her neighborhood.\nThe worship service to celebrate Shantisha's life will be held on Monday, October 10th, 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 1813 Everett Street, Richmond, VA 23224.
