Sheila Ann Bailey-Stewart

Mrs. Sheila Bailey-Stewart ACSW, LCSW of Richmond, of North Chesterfield, departed this life on September 26, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland Bailey and Ivy Adkins Bailey. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Rev. Gerald Audley Stewart; one daughter, Denae-Marie Claire Stewart- Shepperson (Johnny); three brothers, C. Eugene Bailey (Diana), Warren Bailey (Cynthia), Darryl Bailey (Althea); one grandchild, Raina Ivy-Marie Shepperson; along with extended family, dearest sisters and friends, Angela Thorne, Debbie and Danny Manalo of San Diego, Calif., Pat Ferguson, Emily Carter, Joe and Denise Friday; Rev. Dr. Keith and Bonita Savage, Rev. Rudolph V. and Cheryl Sykes; godchildren, Ms. Selena Coles, Mr. Javon Lane, Dominique, Danielle and Darcelle Manalo of San Diego, Calif.

The family of Sheila Ann Bailey-Stewart would like to acknowledge the following organizations and affiliations, with which she was in faithful service: the Bon Secours Richmond Health Systems, where she was a 20-year employee and where most of her career was at the Richmond Community Hospital in behavioral health, The Metropolitan Nurses Association, The Red Hat Society, The Caribbean Social Workers Association, UNOS United Network for Organ Sharing, along with the Priest and membership of the St. Paul Episcopal Church, Bronx N.Y., along with the many members and friends of the United Baptist Church of Forest Hills Av, Va.

Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will receive friends on Friday, October 2, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon, Saturday, October 3, 2015, at the Mosby Memorial Baptist Church, 2901 Mechanicsville Turnpike.

Remains shall lie in state one hour prior to services.
