Shirley Scott Giles

Shirley Scott Giles was born April 10, 1945 to the late Armstead and Rosa Lee Scott. She was preceded in death by her brothers John Scott, Julian Scott and Alponso Scott. Shirley attended Armstrong High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Southside in earlier years. Shirley had many

jobs with the last being at Tyson Chicken where she retired after 10 years of service.

Affectionately known as Queen Shirley was an active mother, grandmother and great grandmother until her passing. She leaves to cherish her memories

five children Sherita Ward (Donald), Alfred Scott, Ronald Giles, April Jones ( Rickey) and Michael Giles (Tonya), ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 1 p.m., Mimms Chapel.
