Stanley D. Glover Obituary (1936 - 2022)

Glover Stanley D., Sr. was born on December 5, 1936 to the late Fred Douglas and Annie Mae Glover, departed on June 7, 2022. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters and three brothers. Stanley was educated in the public schools of Chesterfield County, Virginia and also attended Armstrong High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for eight years. Upon his honorable discharged from the United States Navy, he was employed with the US Postal Service for 50 years. Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Rosa S. Glover; two devoted sons, Stanley Glover, Jr. (Venus); Anthony Glover, Sr. (Quincy); three grandchildren, Stanley Glover, III, Chondra Wright and Anthony Glover, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-laws, three devoted Arlene Miller, Benita Robinson and Sheryl Harris, one brother-in-law; three godchildren, Jennifer, Ashley and Anthony, and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:30 pm.
