Sterling Griggs

Sterling Bedford Griggs departed this life on March 17, 2023. Born in Richmond, Virginia on November 20, 1948 to his parents Clyde and Queenie Griggs. He is proceeded in death by his parents and brother Harold Robinson. Sterling worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Arbors Senior Apartments for many years until his health began to fail.

He is survived by his wife Eloise B. Griggs, six sisters-in-laws Rev. Barbara A. Robinson, Louise B. Grooms, Rosetta Bowles, Geneva B. Edwards, Melinda A. Childress(Rodney), and Belinda Bowles. Three bother-in-laws Allen, Ned, and William Bowles. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special extended family BerthaMae, Wanda and William Armstong as well as other friends.
