Taivon Fox Obituary (1997 - 2016)

Taivon Maquell Fox was born October 20, 1997 to his parents, Ms. Zorana Fox and Mr. George Bates. He departed this life on October 29, 2016. At an early age, he was baptized and joined First Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Frank Lomax, III. Taivon was lovable, outgoing and strong willed. He was a ball of energy, always happy and playful. He was most known for his deep voice, lazy speech and infectious smile that would light up any room he entered. He loved shopping, playing video games, dirt bikes, making music and his favorite color was red. Taivon was affectionately known to many as Tatey or Tai. Taivon was well known in the football community for his talents on the field because there was no position that he could not play. He had a deep love and strong passion for the sport which created many relationships on and off the field. Taivon leaves to cherish his memories a devoted mother Zorana Fox and father George Bates. Five sisters, Talayia Fox, Keniece Green, Dejonique Johnson, Anaiya Bates and Ryean Bates. One brother, DeRon Bates. His grandparents, John and Ann Middleton, as well as Ms. Betty Snead. One great-grandmother, Ms. Eugenia Bates. Three aunts, Katina Bates, Amelia Fox and Keionna Shearin (Johnathan). Three uncles, Alvin Fox Sr. (Dana), Dorian Snead (Shayla) and Derrick Bates. A host of cousins, one devoted Markell Cooley. God Parents, Floyd and Robin Brown, Kena Williams and Keith Thomas. Devoted friends, Malik Cooper, Malik Wyatt, Cody Bacon, Allen Cooper, Brock Harris, Sarah Cooper, Chris Woody and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12 Noon Mimms Chapter. Interment First Union Baptist Church Cemetery Crozier, VA
