Tami S. Smith Obituary (1965 - 2017)

entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2017, surrounded by her family. She served our country as a member of the United States Army Reserves receiving accolades as The Distinguished Honor Graduate of her basic military training course. Tami attended Henrico County Public Schools and graduated from Highland springs in 1983. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, and went on to receive several Master's degrees from Central Michigan University : Masters in Public administration; Maters of Science in administration; and Masters of Arts. She is survived by her parents Thomas and Carol Smith; siblings Troi (Sophia), Tomi, Toni (Keneco) Daphne (Ben) and Angela (Jamar); aunts Edwina (Willie), Ovetta (Clifton), Florence, and Esther; uncles Sherman(Tammy), and Benjamin; devoted cousin and friend Roxie ( Greg), and Cheryl; nieces and nephews Aeriel, Othell(Nya), Asiah, Ismael, Isa, Bret, Blair, Danielle, Toni II; one great nephew Travis; a host of other relatives and friends.
