Randolph, Thelma Gladys 79, of Richmond, Va. Departed this life on March 26, 2016.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her husband James N. Randolph Sr. Of 56 years, son James N. Randolph Jr, and brother Charles Burrell and parents Patty Chambers and Eddie Burrell. Thelma is survived by 4 children, Deborah, William (Valentino), Angela Loving, Monica (Wythe) Mealy, and a devoted grandson Gerald, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren a devoted cousin, Rebecca Leonard , a devoted niece Cathy Burrell, and several devoted friends, Margie Nelson, Mary Brison and Pearl Moon. Thelma retired from Philip Morris after 23 years of service. Thelma was president of The Ladies Auxiliary Usher Board and also a Greeter at First Baptist Church of Richmond. She was very compassionate and selfless and always there to help those in need. Thelma always made time to take care of family and friends , and her door was always open. She was a very sharp dresser and she loved her pocketbooks. Thelma will be dearly missed by the many lives she touched. \n\nHer remains rest at Mimms Funeral home at 1827 Hull St. Richmond, Va. 23224. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday April 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of South Richmond, 15th and Decatur St. Rev. Dr. Dwight C. Jones officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
