Thomas Friend

FRIEND, Thomas H., of Chesterfield, departed this life March 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his daughter, CaSandra Coleman. He is survived by his wife, Doris T. Friend; two daughters, Lauranette Thomasine "Sina" Napier (Thomas Squire) and Robbin Y. "Bob Tail" Friend; two grandchildren, Damien L. Napier (Tamika) and Danica C. Millner (Jeffrey); four great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Major E. Coleman; sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Friend and Helen B. Friend; brother-in-law, Earl Hickerson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, 1 p.m. First Baptist Church, 2920 Kingsdale Road. Dr. Wilson E.B. Shannon, pastor, officiating. Remains will rest in church two hours prior to service. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
