Todd Ricarldo Moody was called peacefully from this earthly journey to eternal life with the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Todd was the second gift born to his Mom and Dad on May 19, 1971. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marion and Susan Butler Mashore (Moshoe), his father Carl L. Moody, two amazing aunts Elvira D. and Thelma J. Mashore, his beloved brother Marlon (Snookie) Moody and only son Aaron C. Moody. Todd was born and raised in Henrico County and attended Laburnum Elementary, Moody Middle School and Henrico High School graduating with his Henrico Warriors Class of 1989. He immediately continued his education of higher learning at DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia majoring in Business Engineering Systems and Information Technology.\n\n\n\nTodd was raised in First Independent Methodist Church where he attended Sunday School and served on both the Junior and Adult Male Usher's Ministry. Todd's first love was God, and and his love for his family and friends was immeasurable. He could brighten your day, on any day with his one-of-a-kind sense-of-humor. He was well-known as the family functions comedian - creating laughter and joy within a few minutes of being around. Todd's presence had a realness that drew people around him to his heart and infectious, big smile. To know him was to know a genuinely authentic people-person. He enjoyed talking politics, sports (Pittsburgh Steelers) and especially loved spending time with his Mom - making her laugh uncontrollably. He loved children unconditionally and really believed they should be cared for and spoiled in the best way.\n\n\n\nTodd was an extremely proud member of New Life Deliverance Tabernacle Church where his spiritual father, mentor and pastor is the eminent Reverend Dr. Robert A. Winfree. Todd served faithfully with the Men's Ministry and the Male Usher's Ministry.\n\n\n\nTodd leaves his many beautiful memories to his loving and very devoted Mom, Reverend Joyce A. Mashore-Moody; two devoted aunties: Ivory B. Mashore and Sarah E. (Liz) Mashore-Bailey; three devoted cousins: Jeffrey A. (Toney) Mashore (Debra), Tammy E. Brown and Reeve A. (Boo) Bailey; one half-brother: Quincy Moody; two nieces: Ashley Nicole (His Buttercup) Moody and Alexis Moody; one great nephew; four great nieces (including his Blakey-Blake); one great uncle Willie Butler; a host of junior cousins that he held close to his heart: April, Autumn, Jeffrey II (AJ), Alessandra, Markus, Ariel; his devoted and loyal friend Angie Warren; and numerous extended family and friends among them, Antoine Mclemore, Eric Mclemore, Catanna Ross, Towanda Hewlett, Timothy Jones, Lesley White, Wayne Johnson, Preston Davis and his loving New Life Church family.\n\nWe hope Todd's wonderful spirit has touched and inspired your life in some significant way that will help you to hold him in your memories always.\n\nTodd was truly in a class all his own.\n\nAnd remember his favorite quote: "Don't make things so complicated, GOD'S GOT IT!\n\nCelebration of Life Saturday, October 10, 11 AM, at United Nations Church International 214 Cowardin Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23224.
