Vergena Yvonne Pegues Obituary (1972 - 2021)

Vergena Yvonne Pegues born on August 26, 1972. She departed this life July 19, 2021. Vergena went to Caroline Schools for a while, then in 1986 her family moved to Richmond where she completed her education. She was employed by Henrico Doctors Hospital and several other healthcare agencies. She loved helping people. She also enjoyed painting, many of her drawings would tell her story. Vergena was preceded in death by her father, John Willie Pegues, Sr. ; son, Alvin D. Pegues; paternal grandparents Luther and Lizza Pegues of Chesterfield, SC; maternal grandparents, Allen and Dorothy Boone of Woodford, VA. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Brandon J. Pegues of Caroline County; one grandson, Anthony Pegues; one granddaughter, Faith Pegues; mother, Carolyn Boone Pegues-Tyree of Saginaw, MI; sister, Carol Ann Pegues-Jones, of Woodford, VA; brother, John Willie Pegues, Jr. of Saginaw, MI; aunts, Yvonne Pegues, Nellie Pegues and Hope Mills of North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends. Our hope is in the resurrection of the dead as stated in Gods word in John 5:28-29. The family would like to Thank you for all the cards, letters, messages and contributions.
