Verlanda Shirell Anderson Obituary (1963 - 2020)

Verlanda (Shirley) Anderson 57, was born January 3, 1963 to Alease and Stuart Anderson in Richmond, VA. On July 24, 2020 a loved woman was called home. . She attended Cedar Street Baptist Church, and made sure her kids got to know God. At the age of 20 she worked at Bethlehem Baptist Church as a daycare teacher, and furthered her career in cosmetology, production work and nursing. Shirley was one of a kind and once you met her wasn't know forgetting her. She loved cooking Sunday dinner and having family time. She was a mom to a lot of people. Verlanda Shirley Anderson leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, Chanell Anderson, Lyndell Anderson(Amonie), Ametria Anderson , Michelle Hinton and a host of extended children; grandchildren, Demario Anderson, Keon Lee, Saniya Anderson, Daicon Smalls, Chavaya Blakley and Mondell Anderson; her two brothers, Andre' and Perry Anderson; life long sisters, Sharon Barge (Shavon, Sharika), Mary Collins (Trey, Jaron) and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends; among them devoted significant other , Lloyd Brown.
