Mrs. Versail H. Alexander Obituary (1948 - 2021)

Versail Alexander, departed this life November 7, 2021. Versail leaves to cherish her memory: her dedicated and beloved daughter, Angel; she also reared Britney Durham, whom she loved; a grand-doggy, Madison; grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Taleah Williams, Juelz Durham, and Ahmod Durham, all of Chester, Virginia; her siblings, Barbara Ann Hinton Smith, and Marilyn Hinton, both of Chesterfield County, Anthony A. Jones, Debra P. Jones, and Ida M. Jones-Belton, all of Henrico, and Sandra J. Jones of New York; aunts, Ada B. Steed of New York, Betty Hinton of Richmond, and Alma Jackson, and Olivia Thurman, both of Buffalo, New York; brother and sister in-laws, Dorothy William, Ann Sanderson, Perry Alexander, all of Richmond, and Eugene Spurlock of New Jersey; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was loved by many and many looked to her as a mother figure. Lastly, Versail will be missed by devoted cousin, friend, and confidant, Shirley Epps of Midlothian. Versail and Shirley spoke to one another daily and encouraged each other throughout their lives. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11 AM at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St.
