Wallace "Junnie" Steed, Jr. Obituary (1967 - 2017)

Wallace C. Steed, Jr., born August 16, 1967 passed peacefully in his sleep on July 1, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Cleveland and Hazel Steed and Burrell and Rosa Allen. A graduate of L.C. Bird High School where he was a member of the football team. He worked for both Reynolds Metals Co. and later Pleasants Hardware. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and landscaping. Wallace is survived by his loving parents, Wallace Sr. and Barbara Allen Steed; his sister, Barbie Tawanda "Wanda"; brother, Patrick Allen; aunts, Gladys Reynolds, Kathleen Thompson and Cordelia Allen Dickerson; uncle, William T. Allen. godparents, Henry and Barbara Jones; a special friend, Regina Muwonge; and numerous cousins and friends. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, Richmond, Virginia 23224 and homegoing services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment First Baptist Church Midlothian, 13800 Westfield Rd., Midlothian, VA.
