Wayne Lamont Bartlett, of Richmond, VA, passed into eternal rest on December 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan G. Bartlett, Annetta V. Roberts (Tierra's mother).\n\nWayne was born and raised in Henrico County and graduated from Varina High School. After, high school he got into logistics where he worked for over 20 years. Outside of work he was passionate about family and always had a kind word for everyone in need. Wayne knew the Lord and joined the kingdom of God through salvation. He loved to eat good food, listen to music, especially R & B and Gospel. He also enjoyed a fresh haircut and shave.\n\nHe is survived by his daughters Tierra Roberts and Shatisha Hardy, son Rashad Hardy, two grandchildren Nevaeh Hardy and Josiah Hardy, his father Robert E. Bartlett Sr., three brothers Rev. Robert E. Bartlett Jr. (Rev. Angela), Anthony Bartlett (Terry), Floyd Peanut Brown and two sisters Wanda Cherry (Noel, Sr.) and Angela Hayden. He is also survived by a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews.\n\nWayne will be greatly missed by his children, family, and friends.\n\nHe leaves to cherish his memories, and his love for everyone.\n\nA celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 7,2023 Mimms Chapel, 1827 Hull St. at 11:00AM. Interment Private.
