Diaconte Welford Pollard, Jr. "Junior" was born in Winterpock, VA on May 7, 1929.He departed this life July 9,2021. Junior was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle cousin and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Welford Pollard, Sr and Harriet Pollard; siblings, Dorothy Jones, James Pollard, William Pollard (Bessie), Mildred Pollard, and Odella Paige. Welford Pollard, Jr leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 62 years Diaconte Florine Pollard; children, Toney Pollard(Dianne),Sterling Pollard, Carlton Pollard (Lois), Debra Jones(Kirk); one sister, Francis Pollard; Grandchildren, Toney Pollard, Jr., Laura Pollard, Anthony Bragg, Jr.(Tracy), Carla Pollard, and Warren Pollard; great-grandchildren, Niquo Pollard, Prince Pollard, Natalia Pollard, AJ Pollard, Emari Pollard, Tony Pollard III and Braylen Bragg, Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma Branch, Marva Bennett, Minnie Johnson (Norman), Eula Battle, Rose Tabb, Teresa Mason(Charles), Alice Mae Pegram (Kenny), Evelyn Berry(Jerry Lee), Inga Henry (Larry), Horace Percel Brown, Donnie Brown(Janelle) and Larry Brown(Sheree); and a host of other relatives and friends.
