Willie Foushee, Jr.

Mr. Willie Foushee Jr. of Richmond, VA quietly departed this life Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Foushee, Sr. and Mattie Harrison Foushee.

Willie was born in Sanford, NC. He grew up the eldest of eight siblings and attended W.B.Wicker High School. Willie was a very hard worker, who also enjoyed his family. He liked family gatherings because he knew everyone had a joke and so did he.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his daughters; Adesha Conway, Mederra Fairley and Felicia Conway all of Richmond, VA; nine grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Foushee of New York, Donnie Foushee and Julious Alston both from Richmond, VA.; sisters, Elder Nettie Trusell of Queens Village, NY, Claretha Foushee of Westley Chapel Florida, Phyllis Alston of Blackstone, VA, Shirlene Austin of Richmond, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great- great nieces and great-great nephews; among them, a special devoted niece Sherri Henderson, better known to him as Shirley Mae and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM Mimms Chapel. Interment Private.
