Willie R. Howell

Willie Ralph Howell of Glen Allen, Virginia, passed away on August 22, 2025, and transitioned to his heavenly home. He was born May 19, 1950, to the late William R. and Bessie C. Howell. Willie attended J.H. Blackwell School and the Adult Learning Center in Richmond, Virginia. He was a dedicated worker and retired from Altria Group, formerly known as Philip Morris, USA.

At an early age, Willie attended the Church of God of Prophecy, 630 E. 16th Street, Richmond, Virginia. Later in life, he joined the All Saints Apostolic Church in Richmond, Virginia, where he was a very faithful and dedicated member for over forty years until his passing. Willie was kind and friendly. He loved traveling, especially just getting in his car and going for a drive.

Willie was preceded in death by his father, William R. Howell; his mother, Bessie C. Howell; his brothers, William L., Donnie H., Calvin Sr., and Charles Howell; and his sister, Bessie J. Howell.

He leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Leon and Milton Howell; a devoted niece, Julia Flowers; nieces and nephews; other family and friends; and all the All Saints Apostolic Church family.
